Auxiliary Athletic Field Synthetic Turf Replacement
Removal, disposal, and replacement of existing auxiliary athletic field. Install new synthetic athletic turf at the existing athletic field during Summer 2025.

Redundant HVAC Chiller & Geothermal Improvements
This redundant system will serve as backup in the event of primary system failure; provide supplemental cooling during extreme heat waves; and allow the existing horizontal loop geothermal system to be temporarily taken offline to perform modifications and improvements to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system. This project is intended to improve reliability and performance for students, staff and school community, while increasing the overall efficiency of the system, reducing operating costs and carbon footprint.

Updated the school’s Building Management System (BMS) to the latest version including a new graphical interface and mobile, cloud-based access. The upgrades allow for better systems control, improved occupant comfort and energy efficiency.

Installation of filtered water bottle filling stations throughout the school.

Skyline High School

Skyline High School, originally constructed in 2008, is a four-story masonry structure with exterior brick veneer. The school facility has a geothermal system with onsite storm water detention systems and a protected wildlife area. It is situated on 108 acres in the northwest sector of Ann Arbor and currently supports Grades 9-12.
