New Thurston Elementary School News – Summer 2025

To support construction of the new Thurston Elementary, the following activities are taking place on campus.

New Thurston Elementary School Summer News

To support construction of the new Thurston Elementary, the following activities are taking place on campus. Upcoming Activities, Weather Permitting:

Playground relocation is underway.
Site grading and utility work is underway.
Pier installation to begin.
Construction-related trail access changes are noted below and have been posted onsite courtesy of the Thurston Nature Center.

Please note:

The walkway along the North/East construction fencing is not accessible to bikes, strollers, etc. It is a walking path with inclines. Please use paved sidewalks for accessibility. The rustic path will not be cleared of snow during the winter.
Construction parking and construction access drives are for construction personnel only and to ensure safety, staff and parents should refrain from using construction parking and/or drives.
Emails will continue to be sent, to provide updates on campus activities.
