Criminal Background Checks

For contractors in need of completing their background check, please find the form here. Ann Arbor Public Schools works with the company Accurate Background, LLC to process background checks. After completing the initial form, individuals will receive an email (within 24-48 hours) directly from Accurate and must create an account in Accurate’s portal to securely submit their personal information to Accurate in order to complete their background check. This process can take one to two weeks to complete. Please plan accordingly, ahead of your project schedule.

Contractor Key Requests

For contractors wanting keys for a jobsite, please find the form here. Please discuss your need with your construction manager first and if keys are needed, submit all completed key request forms to badges@A2schoolsbond.org noting which buildings you would like access to within the email, including any special doors (example: mechanical doors). Please note, in order to receive keys for a jobsite, you must have an approved criminal background check.
